Importing agent relationships from the Getty ULAN

Documenting agent relationships adds value to your research data. Follow this tutorial to learn how to import such relationships form the Getty ULAN.

Between two agents, there are often relationships relevant to your research that you may want to document. For example, a curator can be associated with a museum and identified as the museum's employee. To help you capture these relationships effectively, you can import them from the Getty ULAN.

1. Open the agent entry.

2. Scroll down to the section Relationships.

3. Click Add and select Import.

4. Find the import options listed.

All agent relationships available in the Getty ULAN are listed. If a relationship already exists in your entry, it is indicated with a warning icon to help you avoid duplcates.

5. Select the relationship you want to import and confirm with Save.
