To enhance your research and optimize access to your resources, you can link your scans directly to publication entries. This tutorial guides you through the steps of linking scans to your publications.
Having access to publication scans is essential for thorough analysis and accurate citation. Linking scans to your publication entries enhances your bibliographic records and provides immediate access to the content. This process enriches your catalogue raisonné by incorporating direct links to important publication scans, ensuring a comprehensive and well organized resource for your research.
1. Open a publication entry
If no media is available the box to the right will be empty. The media counter below says "0 media"
2. Click Manage media
The button appears when you hover over the empty box.
3. Click +Add to select media
When the media dialog opens, the list is empty. You can choose media from an archival resource after clicking +Add.
4. Select a resource with media
The resource selection dialog opens. Use filters to find your media resource. After choosing your resource, click Select to continue to the media selection.
5. Select media
You can choose a subset of the media.
6. Select all media from resource
Use the multiselect in the bottom left corner to select all media from this resource
7. Click Select
8. Media successfully added; click Save
The media is now linked to the publication entry. Click Save to return to the publication detail page.
9. Access publication media
On the publication detail page, hover over the preview image to click View publication Media. The media counter below will display the number of media available for this publication.
