Images are essential to documenting artwork-related data. On the Navigating.art platform, you can upload as many images as needed to an artwork’s dossier and select one as the primary preview image.
1. If not yet done, upload one or more images to the artwork dossier.
Find the artwork dossier at the bottom of the artwork detail page. Click Add and select Upload media to upload new media files to the platform. To add media from the archive that has already been uploaded, select Add media.
2. The added image is now in the artwork dossier.
3. Click Add imagery at the top of the artwork detail page.
4. Select a preview image.
Select a resource and confirm with Select.
The archival resource of the artwork dossier is always displayed at the bottom of the recent selection for easy access.
5. After choosing a resource, select the media and confirm with Select.
6. As per default, the image has been added as related image.

7. Drag the image to the "Primary Image" section to set it as the main preview image. Only the primary image will be displayed as the thumbnail.
8. Click Close to leave the dialog.
9. The primary preview image is now shown as thumbnail on the artwork detail page.
