Indexing terms are used to enhance the description of entries on the Navigating.art platform. They can be added to artworks, publications, and archival resources to increase an entry's findability. These terms allow an efficient organization of your cataloguing data. By associating entries with relevant indexing terms, you can streamline searches and navigate the platform more effectively.
Only pre-existing indexing terms can be added to an entry. Follow the tutorials on creating or importing an indexing term if the needed term is not yet available on the platform.
1. Open the entry you want to tag with an indexing term
You can add indexing terms to artworks, archival resources, and publications.
2. Scroll down to the section Keywords
3. Enter the term
Once you start entering an indexing term, all matching results are shown in the drop down menu.
4. Select the right term from the drop down menu
5. To remove term, click the x icon
